UTILITY VEGETATION MANAGEMENT VENDOR SURVEY
In early 2003 the TLC UVM Vendor Survey was completed. Copies of the survey results will be provided to the utilities that participated in the TLC Benchmarking Study and the Vendors that participated in the Survey. In
2002, CN Utility Consulting (CNUC) completed a comprehensive Utility Vegetation
Management (UVM) Benchmarking Study for approximately 55 utility companies
throughout North America. The study was developed from information provided by
participating utility companies, and it included a review of all aspects of UVM
programs and activities. During this study, the utility participants suggested
that it would be beneficial to hear from the folks who actually perform the
work, namely the tree contractors, service providers and consultants.
